The cause of death matters when organizing international transport of the deceased. When a person has died of an infectious disease, additional documents are required, including a medical certificate stating the cause of death. Some countries also require a certificate confirming that the deceased did not suffer from an infectious disease (e.g. Free From Infection).
Our company, with its experience and expertise, undertakes the organization of the transport of coffins with corpses / urns with ashes also in such cases, taking care of the complete set of required permits and certificates.
Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) was not classified as a communicable disease. Therefore, the funeral does not have to take place within 24 hours. In addition, the burial can take place in the following form: traditional (in the coffin) or after the cremation of the body (urn burial).
During the pandemic, our employees fully respected — and continue to take into account in their work — the regulation of the Minister of Health of April 3, 2020 amending the regulation on the handling of mortal remains and human remains, item 585.
